I started my professional post-graduate scientific career working at Terabeam corporation in Seattle, Washington. The company business model was "the last mile solution" and intended to provide high speed internet connection through Free Space Optics (FSO) in congested urban areas. The company no longer exist and its shares have been bought by other entities many times.

Next, I worked to for Mission Research Corporation (MRC), in their Dayton, OH, branch. MRC was acquired by ATK, Alliant Techsystems in 2004. Most of my activities there focused on modeling high energy laser beam systems for the Airborn Laser (ABL) program. I also did work on laser radar and on imaging through turbulence projects.

In June of 2009, I was hired by Raytheon to join the Modeling and Simulation group in Plano, TX. I started working on radar systems then went back to EOIR. I worked on modeling imaging systems made by Raytheon and other defense contractors. I also worked on ATFLIR and Hyper-Spectral imaging systems. My employment with Raytheon ended in 2014.

Post Raytheon, I took a little bit of a break and got few items off my "bucket list". Later on I taught in local community college in Texas.

I received my MS in Physics from The Wichita State University (Wichita, Kansas) working on Mossbauer study on rare earth material. I received my MS and Ph.D. in applied mathematics from the University of Central Florida (Orlando, Florida) developing theoretical models for laser beam propagation through the atmosphere, and also performing field experiments to verify and anchor these models.

My areas of interest include electro-magnetic wave propagation in random media, special functions, image and signal processing, integral transforms, phenomenology modeling, random process, linear algebra, numerical analysis, and financial modeling. I have run many field experiments associated with these areas, including losing lots of money :).

Currently, and since 2014, I have been an independent contractor. I am a consultant on couple of gadgets and and an investor in few ideas. I also work in non-scientific field finding traditional investment opportunities, like real estate, and alternative investment options.

If a great opportunity to get back into the "work force" presents itself, I am open to the idea. My only condition is, it has to be an opportunity for me to provide expertise and make intellectual contribution not perform "labor".
